Our mission
This resource was created to support and inform people with choroideremia (CHM) — a rare inherited retinal disease that leads to progressive vision loss.
The project was created by people with choroideremia and their families to unite the Russian-speaking community, spread information about the disease, and support scientific research.
The website provides up-to-date information about the disease, modern approaches to diagnosis and treatment, clinical trials, and ways to adapt to life with vision impairment.
Main project goals:
- Support scientific research and development of choroideremia treatments
- Bring together patients and their families in Russia and CIS countries for mutual support
- Support the conduct of gene therapy clinical trials in Russia
- Provide reliable information and help people living with choroideremia adapt
